The Nigerian Chaplaincy

The Chaplain

Welcome from the Chaplain

You are warmly welcome to our website in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

It is with great humility that I stepped into the shoes of my predecessors to continue with the great work they have started. I am totally committed to the vision of the fore-bearers of the Chaplaincy and I am readily available to minister to all Nigerians in general and to the Nigerian Anglicans in particular.  I am totally bound to the service of His majesty; our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; through serving his people in the world he loves and gave himself as a ransom. By His grace, I am committed to:

Total PROCLAMATION of the holistic Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ

Practical DEMONSTRATION of the Gospel through teaching and discipleship, social services

(supporting the aged, the weak, the sick, the refugees, the displaced people,  and the prisoners) and social actions (taking proactive steps and measures to stop culture and values that keep people and our environment in bondage)

PRESERVING the original, pure and undiluted Gospel; so that in a changing and fast decaying world, the FAITH once delivered to the Saints is not corrupted by the human philosophies and post-modern views and values.

PASSING on the baton of the Gospel to the younger generation who in turn will be committed to the proclamation of the Faith to their own generation.

You are warmly invited to partner with us in this divine enterprise. There are lots to be done in the area of:

evangelism and Church growth

medical mission and medical out reach

educational mission and outreach

capacity building development of people

You are invited to:

I am looking forward to hearing from you or welcoming you in one of our services and meetings.  Till then, let me leave you with this prayer which is one of my favourite collect:

Blessed lord, who caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our learning: help us so to hear them, to read, mark, learn and inwardly digest them that, through patience, and the comfort of your holy word, we may embrace and forever hold fast the hope of everlasting life, which you have given us in our Saviour Jesus Christ, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Remain blessed.
